About the Role
- Design, implement, and maintain automated test suites for complex web applications using Playwright or similar frameworks
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing strategy, coverage, and automation infrastructure
- Collaborate with developers to write comprehensive test cases and scenarios based on product requirements
- Perform manual testing, when necessary, especially for new or edge-case features that are not yet automated
- Participate in feature design discussions to advocate for testability and quality from the start
- Monitor, debug, and report bugs or inconsistencies in functionality across environments
- Support the QA discipline as a whole: tools, documentation, knowledge sharing, and onboarding future teammates.
Requirements
MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:
5+ years of experience as a QA Engineer in a SaaS product company
Hands-on experience with end-to-end test automation tools such as Playwright
Strong grasp of software testing methodologies, QA best practices, and agile workflows
Solid programming skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python
Familiarity with CI/CD workflows and integrating tests into release pipelines
Proven ability to write clean, maintainable automated tests and diagnose flaky or failing tests
Comfortable collaborating with both technical and non-technical team members
Fluent in English, both written and verbal
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous experience as a QA Team Lead or senior member driving QA strategy
Background as a developer or backend engineer, especially with PHP
Experience testing mobile applications (manual and/or automated)
Familiarity with performance testing or security testing tools.
