About the Role
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, conducting regular one-on-one meetings and providing clear, constructive feedback
- Oversee the management and organization of our Cloud environment on GCP and on-premise environments, including tasks related to CI/CD and Release Automation
- Be responsible for high availability and reliability of production environments, and implementation of robust monitoring and alerting systems
- Provide technical guidance and support, assisting with troubleshooting and problem resolution
- Collaborate with development teams to refine and enhance deployment processes
- Create and maintain onboarding plans for new hires, ensuring smooth integration into the team
- Conduct technical interviews and contribute to the hiring process for new team members
- Develop and implement individual objectives for team members, aligned with overall team strategy
- Foster a sense of psychological safety within the team, protecting them from disruptions and outside interference
- Report to the Director of Engineering on team performance, progress, and training needs
Requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
At least 5 years of experience in DevOps or a related field, with expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and orchestration (K8s)
At least 2 years of experience in a leadership or managerial role, demonstrating strong communication and people development skills
Experience with GCP infrastructure, or alternatively AWS/Azure
Proven knowledge of CI/CD tooling and processes
Strong experience in managing production environments with high uptime expectations
Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to mentor and guide team members in technical matters
Fluency in English
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, or similar
Familiarity with managed services like Mongo Atlas and Elastic Cloud
Hands-on coding experience, with the ability to contribute to technical projects up to 50% of the time
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies

We are building everything using JS, so you will be in a familiar environment. However, your main focus will be on building our online dashboard.
SELECTION PROCESS:

- Technical interview with team lead from Serbia - 1 hour
- final interview with VP of Engineering from USA
